Description

With the new binary stellar evolution model (binary_c) inputted into L-Galaxies, a wide range of transient events are included (such as SNe, NS-NS mergers, etc). These are then convolved with galaxy SFHs in L-Galaxies to get rates as a function of cosmic time, galaxy type, etc. There are a number of applications of this, such as predicting GW counterpart probabilities, sites of r-process element production, etc.
