Description

We combine the BH-seeding prescription developed on the Henriques+15 version of L-Galaxies (see project: Black Hole seeding) and the model for the ejection of SMBHs via gravitational-recoils presented in Izquierdo-Villalba et al. 2020 (see project: Black Holes). This project aims at studying how the dynamical interactions between SMBHs shape the properties of SMBH populations originatedat high-z, from physically-motivated SMBH-seeding prescriptions. We will focus on the effect of gravitaitonal recoils which follow mergers between massive BHs. Indeed thse gravitational ``kicks'' may be able to eject from their host galaxy a significant fraction of SMBHs, already at z > 7, therefore deeply influencing the following co-evolution of galaxies and SMBH populations across cosmic times.
